Our Shape-Up Programs are designed to help our patients be successful with their weight- loss journey. Health, wellness and sustainability are our goals with a focus on diet and exercise. We have 4 different options available, each one catering to the individual’s goals, lifestyle and budget. Our programs range in price but they start as low as $180 per month. This program mimics the GLP-1 hormone and works by increasing the level of insulin in your body. By increasing insulin levels our blood sugar is decreased. It reduces the amount of sugar released into the blood, and also slows down gastric emptying. These methods have been shown to cause appetite suppression. This is a weekly injection. Most of our patients will see 1-2 lbs. of weight loss a week or around 10 lbs. a month. Starting at $450.
Contrave is an oral medication composed of naltrexone and bupropion. This medication is designed to help patients who struggle with behavioral eating patterns such as emotional eating, stress-eating, eating out of boredom, etc. Contrave has also been shown to aid continued success in patients who have discontinued GLP-1 medications and are looking to maintain. This is a daily oral medication. Starting at $180/month.
The Lipo Shot is our newest member to our Shape-Up program. The Lipo Shot is a weekly injection of B-vitamins and amino acids that have been clinically proven to aid in fat burning and boosting metabolism. Like any of the other medications in our Shape-Up program, these must be used in conjunction with diet and exercise to achieve optimal and sustainable results. Lipotropic nutrients are naturally used by the body to promote, encourage and support the removal of fat. This allows fat to be converted to energy instead of being stored in the tissue. This is a weekly injection. Starting at $350/month

Semaglutide is a prescription that helps kickstart your weight loss journey. It is a weekly injection used to prompt the body to produce more insulin, which reduces blood sugar (glucose) and suppresses your appetite. It slows gastric emptying, which gives the feeling of being full earlier and removes cravings. When used in conjunction with diet and exercise, it can cause significant weight loss – and reduce risk of heart attack, stroke, and cardiovascular disease in obese or overweight individuals through weight loss.
IIf your Body Mass Index (BMI) is 25+, no history of eating disorders (binge eating, emotional eating, anorexia, bulimia, etc), no personal or family history of thyroid cancer, no personal or family history of Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia, type 2 (MEN 2), no history of diabetic retinopathy, not currently on any other form of Semaglutide, must be 18 or older, no pregnant or breast feeding.
Some individuals may require special consideration. You might NOT be able to take semaglutide if you have a history of pancreatitis, kidney disease/kidney insufficiency, Stomach problems, diabetes (must be approved from endocrinologist) or gall bladder disease.
Yes, we highly recommend physical activity while on our medical weight loss plan . If you are not active while on this medication it can cause muscle wasting, which is very difficult to regain.

Most common side effects are included but not limited to: nausea, constipation, diarrhea, belching, heartburn, abdominal cramping, reflux, fatigue and headaches.
Most patients experience this for 2-3 days after each injection after the first two injections. As your dosage increases you may experience these side effects again in the same fashion.
Things to consider:
Risk of Thyroid C-Cell Tumors: Contact your primary care physician if you develop symptoms of thyroid tumors (e.g., a mass in the neck, difficulty swallowing, difficulty breathing, persistent hoarseness). This has occurred in lab animals that were given Semaglutide/Tirzepatide.
Pancreatitis: Acute and chronic pancreatitis have been reported in clinical studies. Notify your primary care physician if you have signs and symptoms of pancreatitis (persistent severe abdominal pain, sometimes radiating to the back, with or without vomiting). If pancreatitis is suspected, discontinue Semaglutide promptly. If pancreatitis is confirmed, you will no longer be able to take the medication. This occurs in less than 1% of patients taking Semaglutide.
Diabetic retinopathy: Rapid improvement in glucose control has been associated with a temporary worsening of diabetic retinopathy (vision problems).
Hypoglycemia: Patients receiving Semaglutide in combination with insulin or a medication that increases insulin production (e.g., sulfonylurea) may have increased risk of hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), including severe hypoglycemia. Reducing the dose of insulin or other diabetes medications may be necessary while taking Semaglutide. You will need to tell the doctor that manages your diabetes that you are taking Semaglutide.
